Perris Station Transit Center Wins CTF Transportation Award

title Perris Station Transit Center Wins Transportation Award from the California Transportation Foundation. ima teamed with Psomas, Manuel Oncina Architects, and LA Engineering for the Riverside County Transportation Commission and Riverside Transit Agency project.

This project is phase one of a two-project transportation center. The transit project currently includes eight bus bays, 141 park and ride parking spaces, and five beautifully designed Victorian bus shelters. The rail project, currently undergoing project development, is the Perris Valley Line (PVL) Project. The PVL project will extend Metrolink service 24 miles from downtown Riverside to the City of Perris. The rail project includes four stations one of which is the Perris Station. The Transit Center serves approximately 880,000 riders annually mainly via 216 weekday busses. The station was dedicated to Disney Animator and transportation enthusiast, Ward Kimball, and enhanced by art displays of his work such as Jiminy Cricket.
