ima principals served as Project Manager and Landscape Architect for the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Area, at the Sepulveda Dam Flood Control Basin, Los Angeles, CA. Scope of services included final concept plans, schematic design and construction documents for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District. The 671 acre (272 hectare) Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Area is located in the eastern portion of the Sepulveda Dam and Flood Control Basin on land leased to the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks for park and recreation purposes. Project design features include a comfort station with restrooms, staging area with display area; parking for cars and buses with a bus drop-off area; trail system that complies with ADA requirements with trail amenities such as interpretive markers, benches, viewing blinds, and trash receptacles.
